Assess whether or not the changes in the structure of the UK industry beget been beneficial for the miserliness, industries and the consumer.Over the past 30 years the structure of the UK economy has beentransformed. By this I mean there has been changes in the productionand traffic in the midst of the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors.In 1964, 1,201,000 people were employed in the primary sector. By 1995there were only 383,000 people employed in the primary sector. Thisshows a decrease of 818,000 employees everywhere 31 years. This was mainly delinquent to a contraction of output in the coal mining industries, and the clang of oil prices in 1986, further contributing toward thedeclining industry.The second change in the structure of the UK industry was a decreasein output and avocation in the secondary (manufacturing) sector. Adecrease of 6,027,000 duty was recorded between 1964 and 1995.This is deindustrialisation.The final change was in the tertiary sector, where the amount employedhad change magnitude by 50%, from 11,178,000 to 16,527,000, between 1964 and1995.
